African Mahogany

African mahogany is an exotic wood that is often used in high end furniture, antique reproduction furniture pieces, and areas where carvings will be applied. African mahogany is easily machined and carved and holds a great finish. Cabinetmakers have used mahogany to build furniture of all kinds. African mahogany is also referred to as Khaya or Khaya Mahogany. Khaya is also a great substitute to Honduran mahogany.
