Lacewood: Exotic Wood
Brazilian Lacewood is a unique exotic wood that is tan to light brown in color and typically quartersawn to show a fantastic medullary ray. This flecking gives it a fish scale type figure that is highly desirable. Leopardwood and Lacewood are often used interchangeably, but we differentiate the two items so customers know exactly what they are getting. Brazilian Lacewood is lighter in color and weight than its counterpart Leopardwood.
