4/4 Osage Orange 100BF Lumber Pack

Description

This is a 20 board foot pack of 4/4 Osage Orange (American). Boards are skim planed to 15/16″ thick and random widths typically 4-9″ wide. Wide stock requests can be done but may resualt in an upcharge compared to the random width price. Boards are kiln dried and 1 com and better grade. Lengths in stock are 6-12 feet but to ship LTL cheaper are cut to 94″ long or less to make shipping easier and cheaper. This material is known for its unique yellow color and great exterior durability and hardness.

This is a 1 common grade. This species is prone to checking. We pull the clearest boards possible when filling orders, but this species has a larger waste factor then typical domestic lumber.

This material is one of the hardest American hardwoods often used for bow making. This lumber is rare to get wide and long lengths as Osage typically grows like a bush and doesnt yield large logs very often. This stock came from good sized logs.
